Engineering Technician

ENGINEERING TECH. – No. Fairfield County, CT. This privately held company tends to do quite well during recessions. You’ll be building prototypes of their new products. This manufacturer is the world leader in their market. Sales have increased greatly in the past three years, due to an influx of orders from the Orient. All of this company’s vendors are in the U.S., and they build everything in house, stamping products "Made in the U.S.A". The Engineering Tech will be building prototypes from schematics, wiring, soldering to PC boards, generating test plans and reports, testing, plotting graphs on spreadsheets, using schematic capture, and more. Their products incorporate proprietary hardware and microcontroller-based embedded software. The stated salary range is $40,000 to $50,000, but I will present qualified recruits to the $60,000 area, as well. The requirements for this position include an ASEE degree, several years experience working as an Engineering Technician building prototypes from schematics, and some background with schematic capture. Requires permanent U.S. residency.

Sorry, all positions require permanent U.S. residency.
