  CNC Machinists (2)- New Haven County, CT. Looking for first shift? A shot at a decent amount of overtime in the near future? This company has the largest backlog of work in its history more than the next year is already booked. There are no stuffed shirts working here. Reporting to a friendly, open Manufacturing Director, the Machinists will be setting up and operating a wide variety of equipment. There is no high volume work here—everything is custom. Some of the machines include Ingersoll & G&L horizontal boring mills, DeVlieg jig mills, Thompson Surface Grinder, Landis Universal Grinder, Blanchard and Heald grinders, YCM, Maho, and Tree machining centers, Dahlih, Supermax, Bridgeport, and Lagun milling machines, Porebah, Colchester, Harrison, and Mori Seki Lathes, and more. It is a non-union environment. Their benefits include quarterly company performance bonuses, fine medical and dental benefits, and more. The base salary runs anywhere from $15.00 an hour to $24.00 an hour, depending on level of experience. The president here says they have a number of twenty-plus year employees who have amassed $200,000 and more in their company profit sharing plans... They require several years experience in a machine shop, setting up and operating CNC machines like those listed above, coupled with the ability to read blueprints.  

  CNC Machinist-- NORTHERN HARTFORD COUNTY- 2nd Shift (7 Openings). Would you like to join up with a company having its best sales year ever? This division of a Fortune 1000 corporation offers an exciting, dynamic, team-oriented environment. Due to an employee-oriented atmosphere, they boast of many long term employees. Their two major product lines lead the industry, causing production to be booked for most of the year. They utilize all the latest manufacturing techniques, including cellularization, pull production, 5S, set up reduction, statistical process controls, kaizen events, six sigma, and continuous improvement. You will be doing aerospace CNC machining on second shift, running 3:20 PM to 12:50 AM. Salary ranges from $18.00 to $20.00 hourly, plus an extra $1.00 shift differential. $1,000 sign on bonus is payable after 90 days. Requires 1+ years experience of CNC machining, hopefully in the aerospace industry.
