ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN

  ELECTRICAL/ELECTRONIC TECHNICIAN -Westchester County NY

This offers you the rare opportunity to handle a wide range of duties in a small, booming company. You'll be wiring and testing out one-of-a-kind automated systems projects for a small manufacturer ranking #1 in their industry worldwide. Their sales have doubled since 2001. Due to selling systems to a wide range of companies in recession-proof industries, sales grew here over 20% from 2007 to 2008, and again from 2008 to 2009. Sales have increased dramatically since then. You will start out in house wiring up and testing out systems prior to shipment. Eventually, there could be opportunities to move into Field Service or even sales. Since this is a small company where people handle multiple roles, you could be doing some inside sales when there is no electronic work available. They pride themselves on delivering whatever the customer wants on time, so this is not a typical "9 to 5" job. The new hire will be expected to invest themselves in the company, which means working overtime as needed. The rewards are tremendous. This reports to the president, who is driven, direct, personable, and genuine. No one working here spends much time sitting at a desk. Salary ranges from $20.00 - $24.00 hourly, depending on level of experience, plus a weekly paid pension, medical coverage, two weeks of vacation week sick time and 5 sick days after 10 months service. I will show them candidates with higher salary requirements. They have a fast paced, casual working environment with employees who typically have 15 to 25 years with the company. One employee is 82 years old and does not plan on retiring! No relocation expenses are available on this. Requires permanent U.S. residency, an ASEE or AS Electromech degree, two or more years of experience wiring automated systems in a manufacturing environment, and the flexibility required to do what it takes to ensure on-time delivery. Any background with automated equipment or combustion systems is strongly preferred, and some experience working in a small "job shop" atmosphere would be good preparation. These are very nice people and this company is highly stable. Much more information is available to qualified parties.

Sorry, all positions require permanent U.S. residency.
