  HVAC Service Technicians -NYC, Miami, Chicago
This established manufacturer of specialized HVAC systems is the world leader in their product line. They have a number of manufacturing facilities around the world, the latest one opening in 2009. Based in New York City, Miami, or Chicago, the Service Technicians will spend about 50% of the time traveling. 25% will be regional air travel, and 25% is via automobile. After a six month training program, the Service Techs will be evaluating, troubleshooting, and repairing heavy equipment systems which incorporate PLC controls, DC power, refrigeration systems, and hydraulics. The salary ranges from $40,000 to $50,000, and there is an annual bonus plan which has been paying out an additional 10%. In addition to the per diem allowance for meals, the company provides paid hotels, some personal entertainment expenses, a company credit card (improving the users' credit scores), automobile mileage reimbursements, and a company tool kit. These positions require permanent U.S. residency, experience maintaining heavy equipment, especially PLC controlled refrigeration systems, a valid drivers license with clean driving record, an interest in international travel, good interpersonal skills, and computer literacy. There is a test on electrical schematics, hydraulic circuitry, and on mechanical blueprints in the interview process.
