SR. SOFTWARE ENG. – C# /ASP.NET Norfolk County, MA. This one offers you the best of both worlds-- the relaxed, close knit atmosphere of a consulting

sales jumped by 45%! You will be working alongside of a highly respected, friendly
architect/lead developer, extending and enhancing custom in-house business and MRP/ERP
manufacturing software used throughout the corporation. This includes gathering business
requirements, advising on software & hardware architecture, implementing software modules
written in C#, ASP.NET, VB.NET, Javascript, VBScript, and Perl, directing software test,
integration, even user training. This means you will work along with MIS, engineering,
manufacturing, sales & marketing, quality, and management, so there could be some occasional
local travel. The salary ranges from $80,000 to $90,000, depending on level of experience,
and I will submit qualified developers to $95,000. Benefits here include three weeks vacation

SR. SOFTWARE ENGINEER- C++ & STL- Coastal New Haven County, CT. Interested in doing
engineering/scientific development with a smaller company? This Software Engineer will
function as senior individual contributor, working on sections of the new product line.
This twenty year old, privately held company designs and manufactures leading edge equipment
for their market. The close-knit, casual atmosphere here makes for minimal politics. Some
employees here have developed arrangements with management to work from home a day a week, and
they have flex hours. The developers use C++/MFC Visual Studio 6.0 with STL, COM, and XML for
data transmission. Most of the applications will be on data acquisition, data analysis, and
algorithm development on systems communicating with custom embedded hardware. There could be
occasional GUI work, and there is no web development. The salary ranges from $75,000 to
$85,000, depending on level of experience, and there is a merit bonus program.
The positions require five or more years of C++/MFC development experience, ability to
handle projects independently, and a BS degree. They will interview individuals with business
applications background, who would be interested in engineering work. Due to the lack of time

due to their emphasis on research and development. They have acquired four companies in the
past four years. Their recently expanded facility is beautiful. Because the employee-oriented
management sets realistic goals, they have many long term, talented engineering employees.

industries, including consumer electronics, computers, capital equipment, aerospace, and
automotive. You’ll be directing at least twenty Project Leaders, Software Section Managers,
Software Engineers and outside consultants in multiple locations developing engineering/
data acquisition applications using C++/C#, Visual Studio and Microsoft Team Foundation.
Will develop quotations for projects, developing project management processes, coordinating
software development efforts with other business units, successfully completing development
projects. There will be about 15% national/international travel. Salary ranges from

company tends to do quite well during recessions. They are the world leader in their market.
Sales have increased greatly in the past three years, due to an influx of orders from the
Orient. All of this company’s vendors are in the U.S., and they build everything in house,
stamping products "Made in the U.S.A". Their products incorporate proprietary hardware and
microcontroller-based embedded software. You’ll function as a senior individual contributor,
handling projects of all sizes on your own. This is machine control firmware written for 8
and 16 bit microcontrollers in C & C++. Salary ranges from $80,000 to $100,00 and beyond.
They require a BSEE or BSCS degree, coupled with at least seven years experience writing
embedded software for realtime controls in C. This company gives a logic quiz and a technical
"C" quiz on the interview. Sorry, no relocation on this one. Requires permanent U.S.
residency.
