Software Engineers

SR. SOFTWARE ENGINEER- CENTRAL CT C#/.NET
Love scientific development projects? Looking for a place where you can develop applications which never have been done before? Due to a strong focus on R & D, this company is ranked #1 globally in their field. Their aggressive management team has acquired four other companies in the past six years. Because employee-oriented management sets realistic goals, they have many long term, talented engineering employees. They try to promote from within whenever feasible--in fact, this position reports to a Software Manager I placed as an entry engineer 10 years ago. They also gear projects toward engineers' interests and talents. Their customers come from a wide range of industries, including consumer electronics, computers, capital equipment, aerospace, automotive, and more. The software department here has a policy of curtailing the use of outside/offshore consultants. This Software Engineer will function as a system-oriented senior individual contributor, handling a diverse range of "bleeding edge" projects controlling instruments, using high-end Dell workstations, Visual Studio C#.Net 2.0, managed code, CANBUS, continuous integration, SQL Server and more, running Windows 7. Some of broad range of applications offered include low-level, hardware interfacing controls, frame grabbing, data acquisition and analysis, data visualization using 3-D graphics and large data arrays, and GUIs. Depending on level of experience, there is a wide range on salary, running anywhere from $73,000 to $105,000. The salary target is around $96,000 - $100,000. Benefits include three weeks vacation the first year, generous profit sharing plan, company-matched 401 (k) plan, tuition aid, "high performer awards" with stock options, stock purchase discounts, cafeteria medical plan, relocation assistance, and more. Requires a love for science, six or more years developing scientific or engineering PC applications for industry using C#/C++ .Net, knowledge of managed code, decent communication skills, a BS/MS or PhD in Computer Science, Math, or Physics, and permanent U.S. residency. MIS/IT experience is not desirable. Since I have been recruiting for this company over 15 years, much more information is available to qualified parties.

Sorry, all positions require permanent U.S. residency.
