Sr. Design/Engineer Aerospace

SR. DESIGN ENGINEER- Aerospace Greater Hartford, CT
Looking for a real shot at management within a short time frame? This is an excellent chance for you to become Engineering Supervisor within two or three years on this manufacturer' s hottest selling product line. After product training under a knowledgeable supervisor with 35 years experience, you'll be groomed to take over the engineering function of a highly engineered line of rotating equipment. Due to having two highly engineered, unique product lines, this division of an international corporation consistently outperforms all other subsidiaries. The environment is dynamic, exciting, and the shop is clean. Their management style is positive and supportive. They attempt to promote from within whenever possible. In fact, several engineers I have placed here have come to me years later and have thanked me for the connection. Two of them have been promoted into management. The Senior Design Engineer will be involved in just about every aspect of the product line. In addition to working directly with customers, they will design using CAD, conduct 3D solid modeling, use ANSYS FEA for structural analysis, do some applications engineering, and they will even devise and run their own tests. There will be about 15% international travel, as well. Since these are aerospace products, everything is at close tolerance and adheres to tight specifications. The salary ranges from $80,000 to $85,000, and I will present qualified engineers a little higher. They offer a full, highly competitive benefits package which include 100% company-matched 401 (k) plan to 5% of salary, funeral and military leave, tuition aid, thirteen holidays, some relocation assistance, and more. They require U.S. Citizenship, a BSME/Materials/Aeronautical/or Civil Engineering degree, six or more years of rotating equipment design experience using 3D solid modeling software, some background in aerospace manufacturing, fine interpersonal skills, and the motivation to become an engineering supervisor within the short term.

Sorry, all positions require permanent U.S. residency.
